SOUTH BEND - Madelyn Michaelis, 87, died Sunday in Regency Place of South Bend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theordore and Bertha Ann (McCormick) Chandler; and husband, Earl Michaelis. Survivors include sons-in-law, John Michaelis of Anchorage, AK, Ronald (Mary) Michaelis of Niles and Robert (Brenna) Michaelis of Mishawaka; and a sister-in-law, Jean Heston of Florida. There will be no visitation or services at this time. Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart, is handling arrangements.
