SOUTH BEND - Ruby Mae Litherland, 85, of Regency Place, died at 9:30 a.m. today in the nursing home.
Mrs. Litherland was a former employee of Robertson's Department Store and Wyman's Department Store. She was born March 16, 1910, in South Bend. She is survived by a niece, Jean Leiter of Santa Clarita, Calif.; and three nephews, Keith Fenner, Jim Fenner and John Fenner, all of Florida; and a great-niece, Nancy Crawford of Sherman Oaks, Calif. She was a member of Community Baptist Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
Editor: Her maiden name was Ruby Mae Schonover and on 1-26-1952 she married Donald Eugene Litherland. This marriage ended in divorce.
