SOUTH BEND - Doris E. Lidecker, 70, of Oakland St., died at
7:08 p.m. Monday in Countryside Place, Mishawaka. Miss Lidecker
retired in 1981 from AlliedSignal after more than 30 years of
service. She was born July 17, 1925, in Mishawaka. She is
survived by her mother, Elsie A. Lidecker of South Bend; two
sisters, Judith Edelman and Margaret Lidecker, both of Mishawaka;
a brother, Lowell L. Lidecker Jr. of South Bend; six nieces and
nephews; and 13 great-nieces and nephews. She was a member of Faith
United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star St. Joseph
Chapter 569.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in
Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley
Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8
p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be
made to the American Diabetes Association.
