Annie Ruth Lidecker, 74, of East Main Street, Niles, Mich., passed away following an illness at 11:55 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11, in Regency Place, South Bend, Ind. She was born on Jan. 2, 1928, in Tennessee, to Jessie and Nora Howell, who preceded her in death. On Aug. 3rd, 1951, she married Arthur S. Lidecker in Mishawaka, Ind. He died in 1975. She was an equipment operator for the Michigan Dept. of Transportation for 13 years. She is survived by her children, James Michael Everett of Mishawaka, John Arthur Lidecker and Deborah J. Lidecker, both of Niles; and by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, where friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. today. Burial will follow services Thursday at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society or to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
