SOUTH BEND - Debra Lewis, 50, passed away at 12:12 p.m.,
Sunday, July 20, 2008 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. On
July 7, 1958, in Tupelo, Mississippi, Debra was born to Carl McKirnney
Jr. and Ernestine (McNary) McKinney. Family members who
survive include a son, Terrell (LaCresha) McNary of Oklahoma;
long time companion, Sammy Cole; one sister, Charline
McKinney; six brothers, Charlie McKinney, Anthony McKinney, Don
McKinney, Corey McKinney, Jerome McKinney and Bernette McKinney;
and an aunt, Josephine McNary; all of South Bend, along with a
host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by
her parents; a daughter, Ida Lewis; and a son, Antwan
Lewis.
A Memorial Service for Ms. Lewis will be
held on Wednesday, July 23, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at 207 South
Walnut Street where friends may gather. Arrangements have been
entrusted to Alford's Mortuary.
