Helen J. Lewandowski

April 21, 1911 – May 3, 1986

Helen Lewandowski, 75 of the Regency Place Nursing Home, died at 5:35pm Saturday in the home.  She retired in 1972 from Notre Dame.

She was born April 21, 1911, in South Bend, and lived in the area all of her life.  On January 18, 1930, in South Bend, as Helen Stefanski, she married Zygmund R. Lewandowski.  He died in 1979.  She is survived by three sons, Thomas and Jerome, both of South Bend, and Eugene of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.  Arrangements are being made at the St Joseph Funeral Home.
