Julius Joseph Leptak Jr.

May 12, 1928 – July 3, 1955

Julius Joseph Leptak Jr died at 7:55am Sunday in St Joseph Hospital after two months illness.  He was a senior in the University of Notre Dame College of Engineering.

He was born May 12, 1928, in New York.  Surviving are his father, Julius J. Leptak Sr., and a brother, John A., both of New York.

Friends may call in the Hickey Funeral Home until 9am services Wednesday in Sacred Heart Church at Notre Dame. Rev. Joseph Barry, CSC, will officiate.  Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park.

The rosary will be recited at 8pm today in the funeral home.  Leptak served in the US Navy from 1946-1951 and was employed by Bendix Products Division, Bendix Aviation Corp, the past two summers.

Pallbearers will be Edmund J. Gember, Arthur Gember, Paul A. Marz, Jahes Houk, Charles F. Brown and Robert B. Boaz.
