SOUTH BEND - Elizabeth Frances Lentine, 72, of Southeast Drive, died at 7:34 p.m. Thursday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Lentine was born April 15, 1921, in St. Louis and lived in South Bend for 54 years, coming from St. Louis.

On June 23, 1940, in St. Louis, as Elizabeth F. Tedeschi, she married Walter J. Lentine. He died in 1976. She is survived by two daughters, Cathy Keiser of South Bend and Gerri F. Allen of Mishawaka; three sons, Charles S. and Walter, both of South Bend, and Angelo W. of Mishawaka; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Rosemary DeAngelo of St. Louis; a brother, Barney Tedeschi of Largo, Fla., and a companion, Donald First of Dowagiac. She was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church, Mishawaka, and Battell Center, Mishawaka.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka, where a wake will be at 3:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
