Sister Mary Wigberta CSC, died Saturday morning in the convent of St. Mary’s College after a lengthy illness. She was born Marie Rosa Lederle in Baden, Germany in 1882 and came to this country in 1905. She received her habit in 1906 and took the professional vows in 1912. She was stationed in Logansport; Baltimore; Los Angeles; and New York City; as well as St. Mary’s.

A requiem high mass will be said at 6 a.m. Monday in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto and burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, on the campus. Friends may call in the convent parlor.
