63, rural route No. 1, Wednesday in Chicago. Friends may call tonight and Friday in Frank Mrozinski residence, near Saugney lake. Funeral at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John Cantius Catholic church.

ROLLING PRAIRIE – Reay Michael Laymon
, 63, R.R. 1 (near Saugunay lake) died yesterday in Hines hospital, following a one-year illness. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John’s Canty church with Rev. Theodore Jasinski officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mrozinski, near the church, until the hour of service. The American Legion will conduct graveside services. Haverstock funeral home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Laymon was born Sept. 18, 1886, in Rolling Prairie and lived in the community all his life. On March 3, 1938, he married Helen Mrozinski, who survives. Also surviving are two sons – Harold and Ceasar, both at home; a brother, Jack, Michigan City; two sisters – Mrs. Cecelia Urban and Mrs. Pauline Klosinski, both of Michigan City; a step-brother, Lewis, Michigan City, and three step-sisters – Mrs. Verna Barts and Mrs. Agnes Hoschower, both of Michigan City, and Mrs. Louise Jepson of California. The deceased was a member of St. John’s Canty church and the American Legion.
