Roy Lawson, 70, o
61621 Meadowlark, died at 8:30pm Tuesday in St Joseph’s
Hospital.
He was born in
Jasonville IN, and had lived here for 45 years. On July 8,
1961, in South Bend, he married the former Joyce J. Jaworski, who
survives, along with three sons, Basil A of Tucson AZ and Barry R
and Doug R, both of South Bend; three grandchildren and two great
grandchildren.’
Friends may call
from 7 to 9pm today in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S.
Michigan. Services will be at 1:30pm Thursday in First Brethren
Church, with Rev. Philip Keith Bennett, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Lawson
was employed by the Studebaker Corp and had been a security guard
for Meyers Detective Service for 11 years. He also was a
member of the First Brethren Church.
