Sister Vincent Lawrence CSC

Sister Vincent CSC, aged 75 years, whose worldly name was Elizabeth Lawrence, died at Notre Dame at 5 a.m. Friday. She had been ill and invalid for several years.

She was born in Ireland in 1842 and came to America and the Notre Dame community in 1873. Burial services were held at St. Mary’s Cemetery at 4 p.m. today.
