William J. Laudick

July 26, 1945 - Nov. 26, 2001

William "Billy Joe" Laudick, 56, a recent resident of South Bend, Ind., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 26th, in Bolingbrook, Ill., where he had lived for most of his adult life. He was a godfather of many.

Bill was owner/operator of Aaron's Total Flooring and was also employed at Lowe's Home Improvement of Mishawaka, Ind. He was also partnered with Bill Helwig of Bolingbrook for several years.

Bill was born on July 26th, 1945, to Clarence and Pauline Laudick, since deceased, in Indianapolis, Ind. He is survived by his son, Robbie Laudick, and by his expectant wife, Shawna of Phoenix, Ariz.

He is also survived by eight siblings, Paul Laudick (Crystal Lake, Ill.), Margaret Kiefer, (Indianapolis, Ind.), Mary Jones, (Indianapolis), his twin brother Anthony Laudick, (Carol Stream, Ill.), Ruth Richardson (Bloomington, Ind.), Janet Curry (Indianapolis), Roseanna Hodgson (Indianapolis), and Barbara Fras (South Bend), where Bill resided for two years; his aunt, Maryann Gehring; five brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; 14 nieces and 24 nephews; and by seven great-nieces and 10 great-nephews.

Bill volunteered his time and energy to many organizations here in South Bend, including the St. Joseph County Republican Party, The Moose Lodge, F.O.P., Knights of Columbus and Lions Club.

A memorial Mass was held at St. Frances of Assisi Church in Bolingbrook on Friday, Nov. 30, 2001. Interment was held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Indianapolis on Dec. 1, 2001.
