SOUTH BEND - Audrey L. Laskowski, 70, passed away on
Saturday, December 13, 2008, at 10:50 a.m. in Saint Joseph
Medical Center, South Bend. Audrey was born on March 15, 1938, in
South Bend, to the late F.H. and Irene (Wasikowski) Steinbrunner.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Leroy
Steinbrunner. She is survived by her children, Janice Talboom,
Michael (Paula) Laskowski and Robert Laskowski, all of South
Bend; three grandchildren, Brandon (Shari) Laskowski, Chad
Laskowski and Travis Talboom; two great-grandchildren, Colin
Laskowski and Mallori Laskowski; her sister, Donna (Jerry) Gill
of South Bend; and her two brothers, Dale (Carol) Steinbrunner of
New Carlisle and Alan Steinbrunner of South Bend. Audrey was
passionate about her Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs, and it was
not a good idea to disturb her during the games. She also had a
great love for animals, besides her granddogs, Maize and
Lucybelle, she fed all of the birds and squirrels in the
neighborhood. She loved watching them all, including the
occasional skunk, rabbit or possum. We love you MOM.
