Sister M. Luigia CSC, 82, nee Ann Laphen, of Saint Mary’s Convent, died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the convent infirmary. She was born in Alexandria, Va., Jan. 8, 1867. In 1886 she received her habit and in 1891 she was professed to the order.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception at St. Mary’s with burial in the Community Cemetery.
