George C. Lannoo, 65, of Milburn Blvd., Mishawaka, Ind., passed away on Thur-sday, Dec. 28, 2000 in St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend, Ind. Mr. Lannoo was born on Jan. 29, 1935 in Mishawaka as the son of the late Gentiel C. and Zulma Lannoo.

On July 3, 1954, in St. Bavo's Catholic Church, Mishawaka, George married the former Shirley Weesner. Mr. Lannoo is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley; two daughters, Brenda K. (Alan) Crothers of Mishawaka and Bernice A. (Matthew) Massengill of Laguna Miquel, Calif.; two sons, Brian K. Lannoo of Mishawaka and Brett A. Lannoo of Princeton, N.J.; five grandchildren, Cristi L., Heather A., Rachel C., Brandon A. Crothers and Noelle S. Massengill; two great-grandchildren, Codie Mejer and Taylyn Smith; two sisters, Magdalyn M. Kristel of Scotia, N.Y. and Elsie L. DeMeulenaere of Mishawaka; and by a brother, Raymond Lannoo of Mishawaka. Mr. Lannoo was employed by the Dodge Manufacturing Co. in Mishawaka for 47 years before retiring in 1997.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001 in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001 in St. Bavo's Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. Barry England officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Donations in memory of Mr. Lannoo may be made to the donor's choice.
