John T. Lacy

September 19, 1922 – June 7, 1969

John T. Lacy, 46, of 717 Marietta St., died at 11:40am Saturday in St Joseph’s Hospital after a one week illness.  Mr. Lacy was employed by the Sheetland Properties Company.

He was born September 19, 1922 in Bells TN, and came to South Bend three years ago from Jackson TN.  He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Bobbie Jo Bryant of Jackson TN, Mrs. Christine Fisher of Chicago IL, and Miss Patricia Lacy of South Bend; eight grandchildren; three brothers, John W. Cole of Waukegan IL, Willie J. Golden of South Bend, and Jasper P. Cole of Michigan City, and a sister, Mrs. Willie Mae Taylor of South Bend.

Friends may call after 4:30pm Tuesday in Clark’s Funeral Chapel.  Services will be at 1pm Wednesday in People’s Church of God and Christ with Rev. Walter Sparks, pastor of Love Temple Church of God & Christ officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
