SOUTH BEND - James W. Kline, 68, of Holy Cross Care and Rehabilitation Center, died at 7 a.m. today in the nursing home. Mr. Kline retired from Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 8, 1926, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. He is survived by a niece, Julie Peterman of Laingsburg, Mich.; and four nephews, Fred Kline of Shaftsburg, Mich., Richard Kline of Owosso, Mich., Michael Kline of Lansing and Donald of Burton, Mich. He was a veteran of World War II.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, Mishawaka. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
