Mrs. Jennie M. Kincaid, 90, of 1454 Byron Dr., died at 5:40
p.m. Monday in the Morningside Nursing Home, after a 16-month
illness. She was born in Door Village, Ind., on June 21, 1878.
She lived here for 50 years, coming from Stillwell. On Oct. 23,
1901 she was married in Chicago to Edgar W. Kincaid who died Nov
13, 1959. Surviving are a son, Willis E. of Mishawaka and six
daughters, Mrs Alice Gran, Mrs. Clara Tebo, Mrs Emily Kuhl, Mrs.
Cora Smith, and Mrs Frances Buchanan, all of South Bend and Mrs
Edna Corse of Clairemoont, Calif., 14 grandchildren and 16
great-grandchildren. Friends may call in the Forest G. Hay
Funeral Home tonight and until services in the funeral home at
2:30 p.m. Thursday. Rev. C. Franklin Bruce, pastor of the
Ridgedale Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in
the Salem Cemetery, LaPorte.
