CATHERINE KIEFER       

Miss Catherine Kiefer, ninety-one years old, died at 4:30 oclock Saturday afternoon, January 10, in the Lutheran Home for Old People at Kendallville, where she had resided for eight years.  Miss Kiefer was born March 4, 1857, in Woodland and had lived in Bremen most of her life.  Surviving relatives are a number of nieces and nephews residing in this community.      

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church with the pastor, Rev. E. A. Eggers, officiating.  Burial was in the Bremen cemetery.
