GRANGER - Douglas L. Kepler, 37, of New York City, formerly of Granger, died at 7 p.m. Saturday in St. Vincent's Hospital, New York City, after an illness. Mr. Kepler was born Feb. 25, 1957, in South Bend and lived in New York City for three years. He is survived by his mother, Joanne Kepler of Tell City, Ind.; a sister, Cynthia Zuckschwerdt of Tell City; and paternal grandparents, Claribel and Lloyd Kepler of South Bend. He was a graduate of Penn High School and Hanover College.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
