SOUTH BEND - Anna Lee Kennedy, 99, of
1523 Linden Ave., died of natural causes at 6:30 a.m. Monday in
Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal. Mrs. Kennedy was a former
employee of Ball Band, Mishawaka, and Bendix Corp. She was born
April 14, 1895, in Greensburg, Ky., and lived in South Bend since
1922, coming from Indianapolis.
On March 6, 1926, in South Bend, she married
Lloyd Kennedy. He died Sept. 21, 1984. She is survived by a son,
Leon of South Bend; and a brother, Charles Anderson of
Indianapolis. She was a member of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist
Church, Matron's Art and Social Club and Senior Usher Board, both
of the church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the
church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Clark's Funeral Chapel.
