William Kelley.

 

     William Kelley, of 601 N. Main St., died Friday in the Grove Nursing Home after an illness of 14 weeks.  He was born in Whitewater, Wis., March 16, 1858, and came here 10 years ago from Davenport, Ia.  His wife, the former Louise Luther, died in 1927.  Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Edna L. Warren, of South Bend; a nephew, Rear Admiral Philip Roche, of Coronado, Calif.; a niece, Mrs. John Peterson of Chicago; three grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.  The body was taken to the Hill and Frederick Funeral Home, Davenport, where services will be conducted at 10 a. m. Monday.  Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery there.  He was a member of the Davenport Elks Lodge and the Elks will conduct a graveside service.
