NOTRE DAME - Sister Catherine Kelly (Sister M. St. Dennis) CSC,
86, was born in New Jersey to the late Dennis E. and Marie Kelly.
She is survived by her sisters, Theresa Beatty and Rose Pallitto,
and two nephews, Dennis Kelly and Michael Beatty. Sister
was an elementary and high school teacher in the eastern states
for 21 years and a typist in a variety of locations for 10 years.
Sister returned to Saint Mary's as health needs required and was
active with the older members of the community and ministry of
prayer until her death. Memorial contributions may be made to the
Sisters of the Holy Cross Ministry with the Poor Fund, Saint
Mary's, Notre Dame, IN 46556.
Reception of the body and funeral service will be held Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Both services will be in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto, Saint Mary's, Notre Dame, IN. Kaniewski Funeral Home handled arrangements.
