Claude A. Kelley

Charles A. Kelley Sr., 85, of 13799 Willow Creek Drive, died at 1:30 a.m. today in the Ridgedale Nursing Home, South Bend, after an illness of three months. He was born in Elkhart, and lived in South Bend, and Mishawaka most of his life.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Sarah (Doris) Doi, of the same address, a son, Claude A. Kelley Jr. of San Jose, Calif; five grandchilddren; and three great- grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Beulah VanDeWalle and Mrs. Glady's Gerard, both of South Bend, and Mrs. Romaine Diamond of Toledo, Ohio. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Warner Funeral Home, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Rev. Kenneth Greenwood, pastor of the Willow Creek United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Kelley was a veteran of World War I.
