NORTH LIBERTY - Brian Keith Kelly, 39, of North Liberty, IN, passed away on Tuesday, April 20th, 2010, at 4:27 a.m. at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Brian was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on November 10, 1970. He lived in the South Bend area most of his life. Brian is survived by his son, Carter of Ossian, Indiana; a sister, Theresa (Eric) Kosmider of Bay City, Michigan; a sister, Tammy (Gregg) Fletcher of New Carlisle, Indiana; three nephews, Justin Carlson of New York City, Cody Cassler of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Camryn Fletcher of New Carlisle; as well as four nieces, Nicole Carlson of Dayton, Ohio, Courtney (Justin) Elek of South Bend, Kristen and Katherine Kosmider of Livonia, Michigan. Brian was preceded in death by his mother and father, Sue and Joel Kelly in 1999, and by a brother, Jason in 2007. Brian managed his own heating and air conditioning business, Kelly and Son, until 2003. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. In his younger years, Brian was an avid horseman and won several ribbons and trophies in 4-H. He was a member of the band "65 South" with his brother Jason until 2003. Brian loved music and had a talent for playing guitar. Brian will be laid to rest at Porter Rae Cemetery in Potato Creek State Park, North Liberty, Indiana.
