Helen Kazmierski,
81, of Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal, formerly of 1654 Portage
Avenue, died at 8:25pm Thursday at St Joseph’s Medical Center.
Mrs. Kazmierski
was born February 3, 1906, in Hungary, and lived in South Bend 78
years, coming from Hungary. In 1936, she married John J.
Kazmierski. He died in 1966.
She is survived
by a stepdaughter, Alice Rogers, of South Bend; two stepsons,
Leonard of Granger and Edward of South Bend; 18 step
grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; and a step great
great grandchild; and a sister, Emma DeBaets, of South Bend.
Services will be
at 11am Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will
be at St Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call two hours before
services Saturday at Zahoran Funeral Home.
