SOUTH BEND - Thaddeus ''Ted'' Kapsa, 76, of Poppy Road, died at 12:40 a.m. today in his home. Mr. Kapsa retired in 1982 from Montgomery Ward. He was born June 3, 1919, in South Bend.
On June 28, 1947, in South Bend, he married Dorothy Golichowski. She survives with a daughter, Rebecca Higgins of South Bend; three sons, Randy, Jack, and Kevin, all of South Bend; five grandchildren; a sister, Bernice Wojciechowski of South Bend; and a brother, Edwin of South Bend. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
\Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
