Mrs. Mary Jurgonski: (South Bend Tribune 8/6/1944)

Mrs. Mary Jurgonski, aged 76, died at 4 p.m. Saturday in her home on rural route No. 1, New Carlisle; she was born June 24, 1868, in Poland, coming to this country when she was four years old. She is survived  by five daughters, Mrs. Sally Cencelewski, Mrs. Constance Buziak, Mrs. Josie Rzepka, of New Carlisle; Miss Dora Jurgonski, at home; Mrs. Tilly Kaminski, of South Bend; five sons, Leo, Stephen, Joseph, Enich and Valentine, all of South Bend. Surviving also are two brothers, Michael Kazmierzak, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Anthony Kazmierzak, of Michigan City, Ind.; four sisters, Katherine Walkowiak and Mrs. Anna Nowak, of Michigan City; Mrs. Stella Jasicki and Mrs. Sally Zmiedzinski, both of South Bend, and 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Friends may call Monday evening in the home. The funeral will be in St. Stanislaus Kostka Roman Catholic church Wednesday at 9 a.m. with Rev. John Wroblewski officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery.
