SOUTH BEND - Paul S. Jonas, 92, of Cypress Drive, died Tuesday morning in Morningside Nursing Home, South Bend. Paul worked for Studebaker Corp for 20 years and Torrington for 15 years. He was born June 22, 1915 in South Bend to Paul S. and Barbara (Bujtas) Jonas. Both preceded him in death along with sisters, Margaret Popielski and Mary Lisk-Bokon.

On June 7, 1946 in Chicago, he married Geraldine R. Tollar who survives, along with a daughter, Frances (Richard) Neher of South Bend; a granddaughter, Jackie Neher and Chad Wood. Paul was former president of the Saint Joseph County "Rose" Society where he was instrumental in the landscaping of Healthwin Hospital and Leeper Park gardens.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today, Feb. 22 in the HICKEY Funeral Homes, 17131 Cleveland Road. Private interment services will be held at Highland Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Morningside Nursing and Memory Care Center for their loving care of Paul. We can never thank you enough!
