Lawrence T. Jennings, Sr.

June 21, 1948 - June 20, 2000

Lawrence T. "Larry" Jen-nings, Sr., 51, of Teall Road, Bristol, IN., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 20, 2000, in his residence. Larry was born on June 21, 1948, in Mishawaka, IN, as Lawrence T. Jennings to Gilbert and Elizabeth (Bokhart) Jennings. They still survive. He had been a resident of Bristol for the past four years, coming from Mishawaka. He was employed by Slessman Electric in Elkhart for the past twenty-plus years. He is a member of the IBEW Local #153, and acted as Union Steward. He is also a member of the American Legion of Bristol. After high school Larry attended four years of Electrical Apprenticeship in South Bend. Larry is survived by his companion, Diana McMann of Bristol, IN; One daughter, Michele Jennings of Mishawaka; one stepdaughter, Jennifer Webb of Granger, IN; Two sons, Lawrence T. Jennings, Jr. of Irving, TX, Lance (Wendy) Jennings of Fishers, IN; one stepson, Roy Webb in Mishawaka, IN.; Two sisters, Constance (James) De Clark of Osceola and Judy (Greg) Van De Putte of Sachese, TX.; and one brother, Jeff (Heidi) Jennings of Noblesville, IN. Friends called from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 22nd, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. today, June 23rd, in Hahn Funeral Home. Rev. James Shafer will officiate. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN. Memorial contributions in memory of Larry may be made to the American Heart Association, Dept. 77-3968, Chicago, IL 60678-3968.
