Jacob Jendrzejewski: (South Bend Tribune 8/29/1939)

Jacob Jendrzejewski, aged 66, of 1031 West Sample street, died at 7:30 a.m. today in his home after a month and a half of illness. Born in Poland, July 25, 1873, he came to South Bend from that country 50 years ago. Surviving are three sons, Edward and Henry, of South Bend, and Harold, of Mishawaka; two daughters, Mrs. Lottie Poznanska and Mrs. Sylvia Janowiak, of South Bend; two sisters, Mrs. Magdalen Nowicka and Mrs. Frank Wieczorek, of South Bend; a brother, Joseph of Fort Wayne, Ind., and 10 grandchildren. Friends will be received in the home after 2 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Friday in St. Hedwige's Roman Catholic church with Rev. Francis X. Luzny, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Polish cemetery.
