Louise Janowiak

Louise Janowiak, 69, of North Hawthorn Drive, died at 2:07pm Friday in her home after an illness.

Mrs. Janowiak was born December 21, 1925, in South Bend and was a lifelong resident.  On September 1, 1947, in South Bend, as Louise Leszczynski, she married Richard Janowiak.  He survives with two daughters, Judith Butler of South Bend and JoAnn Stanley of Mishawaka; four grandchildren; one great grandson; three sisters, Lucille Gadacz of Fullerton CA, Evelyn Gadacz of Mishawaka, and Marie Stefaniak of South Bend; and three brothers, Frank, John and Stanley Leszczynski, all of South Bend.  She was a member of St Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, Chippewa Bowl Senior Fun Club and National Association of Retired Federal Employees Auxiliary.
