June Delores Jacobs, 67, of Mishawaka, Ind., passed away on Friday Sept. 3, following a brief illness. She was born on Feb. 21, 1932, in South Bend, Ind., to Henry John and Lillie (Smith) Weindels, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Wahneta Merrill.

On Jan. 19, 1952, in the First Presbyterian Church in Mishawaka, she married Donald L. Jacobs Sr., who survives. She is also survived by four children, Donald L. (Bonnie) Jacobs, Jr., of Osceola, Ind., Jeanne K. (Kim) Lehman of Bremen, Ind., John L. (Jenni) Jacobs of Mishawaka, and Mark A. (Cheryl) Jacobs of Mishawaka; eight grandchildren: Michael Jacobs of Lakeville, Ind., Ashley Jacobs of Osceola, Tiffany Meyer of Carmel, Ind., Mandy Lehman of Bremen, Angela Jacobs and Tyler Jacobs, both of Mishawaka, Heather Jacobs of Elkhart, Ind., and Melissa Jacobs of Osceola; two great grandchildren, Skylar Conlee and Kagen Thacker; and by a sister, Johanna Wiendels of Mishawaka.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 6, in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, with Rev. Edward M. Geleske officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
