Annetta G. Jacobs, 81, of St. Rd. 23, South Bend, IN., passed away 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital, after an illness. Annetta was born on March 26, 1919, in Holland, MI. She retired in 1981, after 30 years of service, as a school social worker, in Grand Rapids, MI.

On June 10, 1944 in Holland, MI, Annetta G. Havinga married George J. Jacobs, he passed away, March 10, 1997. Surviving is one son, Don P. (Laura) Jacobs, of South Bend; two grandchildren, Leanne J. (Steven) Jensen of South Bend, Andrew M. (Elena) Hartman of Chicago, Ill; and two great-grandchildren, Megan Jensen and Marisa Maguire. Also surviving is a special friend, Nancy (Leonard) Luther of South Bend. Annetta was a beloved Mother and Nana.

Services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where friends may call from 4 to service time. Burial will be at Oak Hill Burial Park, Lakeland, Fla.
