Florence Jackson

Mrs. Arthur Jackson, of 625 East Priscilla street, died at 10:50 o'clock this morning after an illness of one week with pneumonia. The deceased was born in Marshall county in 1875, being 23 years of age. Since last September she had made her home in this city.

 

In 1896 she was married to her surviving husband. One daughter was born to the union. Besides the above she is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Shuppert, a brother, Clinton, and a sister, Edna, of Union township. She also had many friends and distant relatives living in this city. The funeral arrangements have not been completed but services will probably be held on Tuesday morning. The burial will be in Porter's cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. Florence Jackson, aged 23, wife of Arthur Jackson, who died in South Bend Jan. 7, took place at the U. B. church last Tuesday and was largely attended. Long before the procession arrived the house was crowded to overflowing. Services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Powell. Interment in Porter cemetery.
