MISHAWAKA - Richard P. Geer, 77, of Mishawka, passed away
at 7:17 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2007, in St. Joseph Regional
Medical Center, Mishawaka. Richard was born on August 17, 1929,
in Detroit, MI.
On July 20, 1954, he married the former Ella Sue Estep. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Ella Sue; two sons, Paul Geer of Osceola and Daniel (Lynn) Geer of Valparaiso; five grandchildren, Kandice, Racheal, David, Casey, and Robert; and two great-grandchildren, Luna and Harlie. Richard proudly served his country with the US Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged in 1952. He worked for Bendix for many years and retired in 1983.
There will be no visitation. A private family service is being held and burial will at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola is handling arrangements.
