Harry Gatti

Mishawaka - Harry Gatti, 42, a former well known Mishawaka man, died in Naugatuk, Conn. at 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon. The remains will arrive in South Bend at 1:43 Wednesday over the New York Central Railroad and will be brought to the home of his father-in-law, Emilio Ferrettie, 320 S. Spring Street, where they may be viewed in the evening.

 

Mr. Gatti came to Mishawaka 18 years ago and was secretary to Peter Susio, of New York, when the Ilen island dam was built east of Mishawaka. Later he became purchasing agent for the Rubber Regenerating Company in this city. About eight years ago he went to Naugatuk with President E. N. Anderson, of the company, to become purchasing agent of the eastern plant and had lived there since that time.

 

The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday from St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Rev. Dean L. A. Moench officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

 

Editor: On July 12, 1907 in Mishawaka, he married Elizabeth Ferrettie. She survived him.
