SOUTH BEND - Maria Gloria Garza, 45, of Conyers, Ga., formerly of South Bend, died Saturday in Rockdale Hospital, Conyers, after an illness.

Mrs. Garza was born Aug. 10, 1948, in Raymondville, Texas, and lived in South Bend until moving to Conyers in 1990. She is survived by her husband, Jose G. Garza of Conyers; two daughters, Christina Garza and Noemi Garza, both of Conyers; a son, Estevan of Conyers; her parents, Pablo and Isabel Cervantes Medina of South Bend; five sisters, Nicolasa Arreguin of Willits, Calif., Vicki Floyd of LaPorte, and Lupe Hernandez, Terry Medina, and Norma Medina, all of South Bend; and three brothers, Augustin, Paul Jr., and Mario, all of South Bend.

Memorial services will be held at later date. Cremation has taken place. Harry L. White Funeral Home, Conyers, handled arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
