MISHAWAKA - Victoria Gardner, 82, of Fountainview Place, died at 12:15 a.m. today in the nursing home. Mrs. Gardner was a former sewing machine operator for Uniroyal Plastics Co. She was born July 18, 1911, in Yugoslavia, and lived in Mishawaka most of her life.

In 1931, in Crown Point, Ind., as Victoria Sloboda, she married Charles Gardner. He died in 1959. She is survived by a daughter, Vivian Bodle of Mishawaka; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
