Mrs. Bessie C. Gardner, aged 76, of 410 West Lawrence street, died suddenly at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the home of a cousin, 1318 Lincoln Way East. She was born in St. Joseph county and spent her life here.

 

As Miss Bessie C. Eberhart she married Frank E. Gardner here in 1892. He died in 1932.

 

Mrs. Gardner is survived by a son, Harold E. Gardner and two grandsons, Max and Donald Gardner, all of Mishawaka, and a sister, Mrs. Emma Keeley, Walters, Colo. She was a member of First Christian church. Friends may call at the Bubb chapel after 7 p.m. today.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dessie C. Gardner, aged 76, of 410 West Lawrence street, who died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bubb chapel, Rev. C. C. Stauffer, pastor of First Christian church, will officiate and burial will take place in City cemetery.
