Andrew G. Fuze June 25, 1912 - Feb. 28, 2000 Andrew George Fuze, of South Bend, passed away at 7:05 a.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, in his residence. He retired in 1977 as a Supervisor from the Bendix Corp., Aerospace Division, following 35 years of service. He was born in South Bend to the late Andrew George and Mary (Farkas) Fuze, and had remained a lifelong resident of this community.

On June 1, 1940, in St. Hedwig Parish, South Bend, he married Dorothy H. Kowalski. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Dorothy, along with a daughter and her husband, Diane (Jerry) Fuze-Graf of Mishawaka; a son and his wife, Michael A. (Irene) Fuze of Fort Wayne, Ind.; five grandchildren, Jeffrey and Kevin Fuze of Fort Wayne, Melissa McMasters of Indianapolis, Ryan and Ragen Graf, both of Mishawaka; and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mary Ann Moon of Granger and Emma Hartman of New Carlisle. Mr. Fuze was a member of St. Hedwig Church, Z.B. Falcons Nest 80, and Bendix Retired Salaried Employees Club. He was an avid golfer, bowler and fisherman where he received several awards for his accomplishments.
