Maria Anna Futterknecht

June 15, 1843 – Oct. 15, 1916

Mrs. Maria Anna Futterknecht, 73, died on Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Bickel, 918 Division Street. She had been ill for several months. She was born in Germany on June 14, 1843. She was united in marriage in 1867 in Germany to Gottfried Futterknecht, who died on Feb. 5, 1897. She has resided in Mishawaka since 1885. She was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Monica's Catholic Church. She leaves three daughters; Mrs. Joseph Henigsmith and Mrs Frank Bickel both of Mishawaka and Mrs, Nicholas Bruggner of South Bend; two sons, Leo and Charles Futterknecht; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

 

The funeral will be on Tuesday morning at 9 am in St. Monica's Catholic Church with burial in St

Joseph Cemetery. Rev. J. H. Bleckman will officiate. Pallbearers will be six grandsons, as follows:

Eugene and Otto Futterknecht. Wilfred Bickel, Godfrey and Frank Bruggner and Frank Henigsmith.
