Lois M. Fujawa, 78, of Indiana 2, South Bend IN, died at 10:47am on Monday, April 6, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

She was born on June 24, 1919, in Crumstown IN.

On May 27, 1937, in Manistee MI, as Lois M. Wedel, she married Alfred Fujawa, who survives.

She is also survived by two sons, Gilbert Fujawa of Fort Myers FL and Gary Fujawa of South Bend; her grandchildren, Julie Eslick of Terre Haute; Jimmie Fujawa of Mishawaka; Jill Felling of Terre Haute, Jeffery Fujawa of St Louis MO, Todd Fujawa of South Bend and Adam Fujawa of Aspen CO; her great grandchildren, Eddie Felling III, of Terre Haute, Tyler and Matthew Eslick, also of Terre Haute, Jessica Fujawa of Mishawaka and Sarah M. Fujawa of St Louis; a sister, Joyce Michaels of South Bend; and by a sister-in-law, Bernice Leda of New Carlisle IN.

Mrs. Fujawa was the owner/operator of Lois’s Beauty Shop in South Bend.  She was a member of M.R. Falcons in South Bend.

There will be no services or visitation for Mrs. Fujawa.  Cremation will take place.  The Welsheimer Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
