SAMUEL FRY IS DEAD AGED 70
WELL-KNOWN RESIDENT OF ClTY IS GONE.

Was Born in Ohio In 1845—Leaves Two Sons and Six Daughters, Also Second Wife.
- Samuel Fry, one of the best-known residents of Mishawaka, died this morning at 10:30 o’clock at the family home, 506 West Battell street, after a two years’ illness with stomach trouble, aged 70 years.
He was born in Cashacton county, 0., Aug. 14, 1945, and came to Mishawaka 10 years ago. He was married first to Sarah Gilland. who died 45 years ago. He was next married to Melissa Sturgeon, 40 years ago, who survives him with two sons and six daughters. The sons and daughters are the following: Oscar. of Culver, Ind. Lowell, at home; Mrs. Ernest Peach, of South Bend; Mrs. Pearl Hartie, of Winamac, lad.; Ethel, of Michawaka; Mrs. Josie Miller, Miss Ruth Fry, at home; Mrs. Kre Smith, Manstou, Cob.; children by his first marriage, Mrs. George Sweet, of Michigan;William Fry, of Crawfordsville, Mich., and Richard Fry, of DeLong, Ind.
He also leaves the following brothers and sisters: Daniel, DeLong, Ind.; David, Richland Center, md.; Mrs. Herbert Miller, of Fort Wayne; Mrs. Albert Sturgeon and Mrs. Martha Thurston, of Missouri.
Mr. Fry was a carpenter contractor by trade and came here 10 years ago from Culver, md. He was a member of the Evangelical church. Funera1 arrangements have not been made
