Edna Mae Fry

Edna Mae Fry, 83, of Mishawaka, passed away Friday, March 10 in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend following an illness. She was born March 15, 1922, in Mishawaka, to Edward and Chloe (Johnson) Matthews, who both preceded her in death.

On July 9, 1934, in Bremen, Indiana, she married Ivan W. Fry. He died in January of 2003. She is survived by her children, Keith (Lindy) Fry of Indianapolis, Jerold Fry of Lewes, Delaware, Judith Davidson of Mishawka, Gloria Bray of Mishawaka, Louise (Duane) Null of Osceola, Sandra Snyder of Osceola and Karen (Charles) Carmack of South Bend. A son, Gary Fry, preceded her in death in 1986. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Jack Wilhelm of Plymouth and William Wilhelm of South Bend survive with a sister, Ethel Dearing of Florida.

Mrs. Fry was a private duty nurse. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday in the Bubb

Funeral Chapel North, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, where friends will be received from 3 until 6 p.m. Sunday. Burial will follow the services Monday at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Grace Community Church, Mishawaka.
