Violet Marie (Olinger) Fouts, 99, of
Joan Avenue in Mishawaka, passed away at 4:40 a.m. Thursday,
March 15, 2007, in Beverly Living Center of natural causes.
Violet was born December 16, 1907, in Rochester, IN. She was
married to Robert Fouts Sr. for many years.
Surviving is her daughter, Ida Jane Housand
of Mishawaka; a brother, Jim Olinger; four grandchildren;
nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Violet was preceded in death by her husband and her sons, William
Fouts and Robert Fouts Jr.; a brother, Orville Olinger; and a
sister, Evelyn Suletti.
There will be no visitation or services.
Chapel Hill Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Interment will
be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
Violet was employed for many years as a silk
finisher in the dry cleaning business. She enjoyed all animals,
but more especially cats. In her spare time, she cleaned houses
as a side job. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
