Robert Fouts, Jr., 69, formerly of Mishawaka, passed away Saturday, Jan. 3, at the home of his sister, Ida Housand in Paris, Mich. He was born May 7, 1928, in Mishawaka to Robert and Violet (Olinger) Fouts, Sr. Robert was honorably discharged from the United States Army, serving during World War II in the European Theater. Robert lived his entire life in the Mishawaka area. Due to his failing health, Robert recently moved to Paris, Mich., to be with his sister.

He is survived by his mother, Violet Fouts of Paris, Mich.; a sister, Ida (Raymond) Housand of Paris, Mich.; four nieces and nephews; nine great nieces and great nephews; and two great-great-nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert Fouts, Sr., and one brother, William Fouts.

Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind. Family and friends wishing to make a memorial contribution in Robert Fouts' memory may do so to their local Hospice organization.
