SOUTH BEND - Glen E. Foster Sr., 83,
of South Camden Street, died of natural causes at 10:22 a.m.
Thursday in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Foster retired in 1969 from
Packaging Corp. of America after 35 years of service. He was born
July 31, 1910, in LaGrange.
On Sept. 30, 1933, in LaGrange, he married
Irene Gage. She died March 16, 1987. He is survived by two
daughters, Brenda Braeckelaere and Diana Hoover,
both of South Bend; a son, Glen E. Jr. of Elkhart; nine
grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Julia Kott
of Vicksburg, Mich.; and a brother, Earl of Vicksburg. He was a
member of Mayflower Baptist Church. He was a volunteer for St.
Joseph's Medical Center and Meals on Wheels.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 15
in the First Baptist Church, Mishawaka. Burial will be in
Highland Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The body has been
donated to Indiana University Anatomical Board. Bubb Funeral
Chapel, Mishawaka, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial

St., South Bend, Ind. 46628.
