Beatrice C. Foster, 88, of South
Bend, IN, passed away at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday, January, 31, 2006, in
her residence. Beatrice was born on November 2, 1917, in
Mishawaka, IN, to Levi and Anna Colclesser.
On November 2, 1940, in Mishawaka, as
Beatrice C. Colclesser, she married Charles E. Foster. Charles
preceded her in death on January 6, 2000. Beatrice is survived by
one daughter, Peggy Foster of South Bend, IN; and one son, Randy
Foster of Mill Creek, IN; two grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth Allen Colclesser of
Saltan City, CA; and many nieces and nephews, among them Patricia
Dreesbach of Mishawaka, IN. She was preceded in death by sisters,
Margaret Louise Colclesser and Lucille Rush. Beatrice
retired from Mishawaka Utilities and was a member of Albright
United Methodist Church, Daughters and Granddaughters Union
Veterans of Civil War and the Mishawaka, South Bend, St. Joseph
County Republican Women.
Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m.
to 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2006, in the Bubb Funeral
Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, IN, where funeral
services will also be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, with Rev.
Warren Kirkwood officiating and with burial to follow at Chapel
Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN. Memorial contributions may be
made to Albright United Methodist Church or to Hospice of St.
Joseph County.
